Nurturing Community Development Initiatives (NCDI) Africa

Nurturing Community Development Initiatives in Africa (NCDI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving livelihoods, enhancing access to education, and fostering rural transformation in Uganda. Our work prioritizes vulnerable communities, including women, orphans, school dropouts, people with disabilities (PWDs), and older people. By mobilizing local resources, engaging stakeholders, and advocating for policy changes, NCDI aims to create lasting positive change in Uganda’s rural communities.

We engage diverse partners, including policymakers, media, non-governmental organisations, and development agencies, to amplify our impact and foster sustainable development.

Development Initiatives

Nakifuma Development Initiatives recognizes that in order for civil society to increase our credibility in contributing to policy and development processes, there is need to demonstrate possible alternatives. However, these alternatives come with deliberate efforts of being innovative in our work and proposals, which widen policy choices in solving Uganda’s problems.
