Cross cutting issues
- Youth empowerment:
With over 75% of Uganda’s population under 30 years old, youth play a crucial role in national development. NCDI provides vocational training, leadership development, and entrepreneurship programs to equip young people with skills for self-sufficiency - Women empowerment:
Women are the backbone of rural communities but often lack access to resources and decision-making platforms. NCDI promotes gender equality through economic empowerment programs, leadership training, and advocacy for women’s rights - Policy advocacy:
We work with government agencies, civil society, and other stakeholders to influence policies that promote social justice, rural development, and equitable access to resources. - Capacity Building:
NCDI strengthens community-based institutions by providing training, resources, and technical support to enhance their effectiveness in delivering services and advocating for change
